KBU1510 — 15A 1000V Single-Phase Bridge Rectifier

Safety & Usage Cautions

• Use a heatsink for any load above ~4–5A. Without one, the 15A rating cannot be reached and the part will overheat. Apply thermal paste at the mounting surface.

• Observe polarity — the two ~ terminals take AC; + and − deliver DC. Reversing the DC output into a load can destroy connected circuitry.

• Do not exceed 1000V peak reverse voltage; add a transient/MOV or snubber where the mains can spike.

• Provide inrush protection (NTC thermistor or series resistor) when driving large capacitor banks to stay within the 300A surge limit.

• Keep junction temperature below 150°C; derate current at high ambient temperatures.
